From 21 December 2016, the national energy efficiency legislation makes it mandatory for businesses with a consumption of 400 000 kWh of electricity, 100 000 m3 of natural gas or 3 400 GJ of heat to use an energy adviser. The energy adviser must be independent of the economic operator in terms of employment law and company law.
The tasks performed by the energy adviser include:
- monitoring energy consumption,
- analysing the impact of energy efficiency measures
- preparation of monthly energy consultancy reports,
- preparation of annual summary energy advisory reports,
- preparation of annual energy data reports,
- developing and promoting an energy efficiency approach,
- technical support and advice for ongoing energy efficiency upgrades or for the preparation of a corporate audit.
Our company is qualified to act as an energy consultant and is currently carrying out this activity for a number of key domestic business organisations.
