We undertake the design of heating, cooling, gas supply, ventilation, water supply, sewerage and utilities for buildings. All of this is done with a view to energy efficiency, the use of renewable energies and cost-effectiveness. Nowadays, everyone is much more aware of and accountable for overheads, as unit costs have risen significantly in recent years. One of the reasons for this is the design of building services, the use of energy carriers and the size and nature of losses. When renovating buildings today, it is essential to identify existing mechanical systems and to plan and implement appropriate, cost-effective renovations. Our design also includes an operational analysis of the mechanical systems used, their manpower and knowledge requirements and maintenance costs. Particular attention is also paid to the control and automation of mechanical systems. A complete building management system is not always necessary, but even in the smallest building, a programmable thermostat can make significant savings.
